An Introduction to the ACES Study

Description

Since the Adverse Childhood Events (ACEs) study was published in the late 1990s, demonstrating that an increase in ACEs leads to an increase in one’s risk of various health and social issues, it has become the cornerstone of the Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) movement. There are plenty of videos, articles and resources providing information about the study and its implications. In this short module our goal is to provide you with quality materials that you can use to further your knowledge, as well as disseminate and train others in your organization.
