This course aims to provide learners with a foundational understanding of cultural humility, cultural competence, and how to work through our biases. Learners will explore their own identities and how they impact their work, examine internal biases and stereotypes, and practice addressing differences within provider-participant relationships. Through scenarios and exercises learners will have opportunities to self-reflect, learn and practice cultural humility, and develop skills to have conversations about identity, race, and culture.
